Parade

Parade

A yearly parade is held on Saturday of the festival featuring floats and area celebrities. Enter the Parade - there are cash prizes (UP TO $100) AND NUMEROUS DIVISIONS, so the competition is really fun!

The parade starts at 10:00 on Saturday of the festival. The staging area is located by Lincoln High School north of the square. The parade winds down to the Square, around, and then back up to the High School. It is a walking route (for the fitter of the participants), however, those of us less active will be found on floats, in antique autos, on antique tractors, or horseback.

One of our main attractions is the display of ANTIQUE TRACTORS and these things actually run the length of the parade. Bands, Clubs and Organizations of all types enter and have a great time. As the head of the parade, Dorothea says, "No one has to worry, the Horses and Horse drawn Wagons do bring up the rear."

Come on and join the fun, contact Dorothea Justice, Chairperson, at dorotheajustice@gmail.com or (479) 200-9547 for a list of categories and prizes. This is a great chance to show off or watch others do the same.

Rules and application information can be found under the forms tab.
